Ring Lake Ranch HikingAbout Vince and the Workshop, one participant wrote: “You have helped me see that I am not alone in my struggles; life is a process and God is always with me.”

Another said, “The workshop is just what I needed. It encourages me to continue the search for wholeness in my mid-life.”

A sage once remarked, “Too many people die at 40 and are not buried until they are 90.” This session offers perspective on ways to really live each year, each day.

What is a Mid-Life/Long-Life Directions Workshop?

  • A time to look at mid-life as transition and renaissance
  • A time to ask anew the ultimate question: What is the purpose of my life?
  • A time to unleash the dynamism of the second half of life
  • A time to allow my past, present, and future to come together, anticipating my coming integration
  • A time to learn how to relax, how to contemplate
  • A time to reflect on my deepest beliefs as they illumine my life.

What happens at a Mid-Life/Long-Life Directions Workshop?

  • Each person is led into a process of discovery of the “self-within” that needs to emerge in the second half of life.
  • With helps from the insights of the best Judeo-Christian spirituality
  • With help from the insights of Jungian and developmental psychologists
  • With help from the experience and individuality of the participants and facilitator
  • The process is personal, non-threatening, exciting and effective.

Wisdom
For a spiritual quest means precisely . . . not starting in a vacuum at square one, but starting where we are with what we have and with what we have found, to quest for it again.
