FROM THE BACK PORCH

There was never enough time on the back porch (for if there had been we'd all be hungry and thin) but my view from the kitchen couldn't be beat.

I saw pink skies in the morning and even at night . . . dogs playing and napping . . . horses grazing . . . people laughing and loving. . . spirits soar . . . souls soothed . . . friendships made . . .icicles and snow.

I saw people come together to help one another, staff and guests alike . . . and I saw people leave. I didn't know I'd be so sad to say goodbye to someone I'd known for such a short time.

I saw the wind blow whitecaps on the lakes and even saw why Ring Lake is named as such. A revelation after 13 years.

I saw fishermen return with tales of glory, and riders and hikers return with thrilling tales of the trail.

I saw people play hard and work hard . . .

I see a place that's right for all who come!

I see I have truly been blessed!!!
