It is immediately adjacent to the Whiskey Mountain Bighorn Sheep Unit and the Shoshone National Forest--home to bighorn sheep, elk, deer, moose, and diverse birdlife, including eagles and osprey. Numerous ancient petroglyphs can be seen in the valley around the ranch. lakemtn.jpg (9089 bytes)

Camaraderie at the ranch comes easily. Groups, including the staff, average between 25-40 in each session. Everyone helps in doing simple chores--kitchen clean up, grooming horses, tidying one's own cabin.
